Employment

The degree enjoys close relations with professional conservation organisations, including the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM), which all graduates are encouraged to join. Most members of faculty are themselves prominently involved in a number of conservation organisations. Regular contacts with NGOs, official agencies and ecological consultancies, all of whom participate in the programme of course seminars, contribute to the degree’s first class employment record. The Sussex Wildlife Trust awards a prize to the top student of the year.
