I'm responsible for research computing within Lifesci and specialise in Linux and Macintosh OS X solutions and the integration of these platforms with Windows.

Contact me if you are interested in using Linux or OS X, if you want access to our 56 node HPC cluster, if you have large datasets (images, video, sound, genomics etc) that you need to store or analyse or other research computing issues.

I can provide space on the lifesci webserver for web applications and some assistance with PHP MySQL and perl.

I spend 20% of my time working within ITS on computer security and lead for them on Information Security policy development and risk mitigation.
