The
Centre for the Study of Evolution is a cross-disciplinary research
group within the University of Sussex which aims to develop and
utilize evolutionary ideas. Members include biologists, biochemists,
mathematicians and computer scientists.
The CSE builds upon the ethos and distinguished contributions of
Professor John Maynard Smith, who founded the biology school at
the University of Sussex in 1965. His
contributions to evolutionary biology changed the field enormously,
and he inspired many people to become biologists. Please click here
